I don't see 8 as a problem, as a turkey hen can retain the sperm inside her for over 2 months.   SO with 8 hens as long as he paces himself they will all be fertile.

I will try to keep an eye on him and make sure he is doing his job and if fertility isn't where I need I will just have to get another tom but hoping he can do it alone.
