EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Pics from yesterday. Arts fundraiser.

We didn't go to Brew in the Lou Saturday because it was $50 to get in (Lutheran Schools fundraiser). 100 beers from 40 local breweries, wine and food samples from many area restaurants as well as a chili cookoff. Basically all you can eat and drink.

.Anyone ever told you that you resemble an older Grizzly Adams?

Ahh thank you. I was trying to make sense of the direction.

You should have left you I was actually looking at the lighting below you and to the right.
Except the black scribble, it is all natural. It is a natural bridge, but with the recent collapses it iscave like too. It is also in a small valley/passage between two hills/cliff sides. It is a couple of mile ride in this section between hills will flatrock overhangs. That probably messes with light angles since there is no direct light. I will post a picture of the type of cliff/hill side.

Was thinking about that later

Guy's coming tomorrow afternoon to see about doing the shed roof.
I've been trying to work out a pattern for the T1-11 above the end walls up to the peak. Had to sacrifice a quantity of thin plywood for the rigidity over 6' (got to split it into 2 pieces so the ribs will run vertical, like the walls). After starting over 3-4 times on the back of a sheet of siding, 'cause I kept screwing up, I had to break out the felt-tip pen so I could distinguish what I hope are the final lines; I'll find out tomorrow. With any luck I can just flip the pattern over to do the other 6'. It'd be handy to be an engineer about now.
I hope it goes well.

Dang, lost my quotes, oh well not going back on my phone.
@ocap ? Yes breeding white giant's towards SOP, have some nice birds but small flock. Culled to a trio, have three real nice pullets I hatched to add. I can't afford to hatch a lot. New to this so more breeding them for myself right now.
I hear April Rob, Rob's Triple P Farm-Perky Poultry of Pennsylvania has some real nice birds. If I was to bring in new blood I'd probably go with her's.
