We hand-milk our goats, and besides using a cloth to strain it - we drink and cook with it raw.

I keep a bottle of hand sanitizer and I use it on my hands/teets when I milk - then the steel bucket is cleaned directly afterwards with soap inside the house.
Haven't had any issues.... *knock on wood*

Sally, Banty, Angelica's kits are 8 days old. They're giant too! Almost twice as big as the Granny's kits were at this age. They also have lots of fat folds

That is my favorite one. It was so Beautiful  growing there by itself, it looked like is was fragile art work.

It is a cool shot. I'll have to see if I can dig up some of
mine from the area over the years.
