Never tried it before, green tomato casserole. Have seven grocery bags of green tomatoes. Already made a bunch of sweet bread and butter green tomato

Was roasting pumpkin seeds so tried a green tomato casserole recipe, so yummy! Supper yummy good!

Might try that. Why wouldn't 1x4's with a bead of caulking on top serve the same purpose, though?

The caulking shrinks and cracks letting water through. Whatever you do do not caulk the bottom of the 1/4 it will trap water and really make a mess.

Stomach problem here, as well; too much of it. Got too much gut belly dun lapped over my belt. Britches won't even stay up 'less I cinch up the belt so tight it's hard to breathe.

Suspenders or overalls make everything better!!!
