At my age I limit myself to one new thing a day. More than that overloads my aging brain and I have to kick out a factoid from years gone by.

I just say Nananananaanaaaaa When the second new thing of the day comes up to avoid losing precious old memories...

My huskies always killed skunks, getting sprayed, even in the face never seemed to bother them. 

I had a dog get sprayed three times on the head and face. Silly dog kept going after the skunk, and asking to play. He did the soft woof and bow move. His tail wagging furiously.
It was quarter to twelve Christmas Eve. Brian (late BIL) was the one to explain it's acid that diminishes the smell. He had my youngest brother go to the convenience store for all the vinegar he could get.
It was three days until a groomer was open, and could deskunk him. Six months until the stench went away.
