Upon further introspection and thinking (which is all I can do right now, as I am at work and away from my incubator for another 5 hours

), I have remembered that when I candled on day 18, I thought the air cells looked a little on the small side. So I'm not sure a 55% humidity is necessarily a bad thing at this point. But I will try Ralphie's suggestion of putting a pan of water under the incubator anyway! My air cells being small does not really make ANY sense to me, though, as Missouri with a woodstove is currently holding at a household 16% humidity and I have to fight against that in the first place. Strange.
