And every one of you who passed along good wishes & prayers; I thank you. To receive such expressions of caring & compassion from a group of folks who, with few exceptions, I've never seen & probably never will, just blows me away.

I'm getting along o.k. for a guy with a 6" incision that wasn't there two weeks ago. Fortunately, it only hurts when I breathe. I'm certainly not accustomed to having to plan my every move in advance. But, this too shall pass.

"Only hurts when you breathe" still don't sound fantastic; praying that you continue to improve daily.

In college I listened to this band called "greenwheel." They had a song with the chorus "I'm alright, I'm alright. It only hurts when I breathe." I still sing it lots.

Duly noted!  Surgeon told me I'd be back to digging ditches if I wanted. Didn't bother to tell him I've never wanted to dig a ditch. He claims to have done 11k+ of this same operation. Don't know that he counts too well, but I hope he's as good as he thinks he is.

That's a lot of operations. Don't know about the digging ditches part either. I do know my dad is still here due to his successful bypass surgery.

Yeah, something tells me Bubbles missed the point that time....might've been a bit early for her yet.

With rug rats & anamules around, I'd be getting a generator ASAP

I can't really justify the cost, when we've never been with out power for more then 8-12 hours.
