Yes, I have. They are working on 3 colors in the SOPs. Cream. Gold Crele and white.

Ralphie I woyld be happy to pay you for some if they are the same or similar. we are selling eggs better than expected and people love the dark browns and light blues mixed in. I was going to pay for "olive eggers" only to find out I already have some beauties from an impulsive chick splurge from a friend and our local fair!

If you want some hatching eggs, let me know. I have sex linked/EE Roo - that should produce green and a variety of colors, and my EE/roo produce beautiful green eggs.

Hi everyone! I had an incubator failure. One egg hatched at 76 degrees and the inside of it's shell is coated with blood. I moved everything to another incubator I was running. 4 more have hatched, but I'm not home to check the shells. All 5 chicks are moving around, so I guess that cold chick is still alive.

Was the cold bator the reas on there was so much blood in the shell? What should I look for in the chick?

Any clue as to how long the temp was that low? Since the inside's going to change temp slower than the outside, chances are everything's fine. That's 'bout all I can offer.

No but the last APA newsletter said it was being considered or something like that...

I have showed legbars at two shows so far, but as a non-standard breed. The whites get more comments than the cream ones do,,,

Of course, that's cause the whites a beautiful!!!

Like Kristin every critter around my place prefer white birds. Out of the five leghorn I had there's one left she's also the oldest of my bunch. I do have other white birds but they don't free range or go in the open runs.
