Nothing new here, I have not even been down to look in the hatcher today... I am afraid of what I might find.

When I first looked at her pictures, I thought, "Why does she have a pontoon cover in her pasture?" Then I saw the horse and it all made sense.

I would say something, but my ducks are LOVING the flooded fields....... and I don't want to traumatize you by posting all the happy duck pictures.

Nah, I was not freaked out, I wasn't swearing, that's how you can tell.   I actually told someone I think he has White Legbars confused with white leghorns,  I  was trying to be Mr Helpful again and have him re-think what he had.   Also I hate to embarrass people being the sweet kind guy I am.  I kind of figured it out when he called them CCL  which is no longer and accepted term in the Legbar community...

BTW I know I should sell them now, BUT I so like them, I am actually thinking of getting rid of my "normal" legbars and keep just the white.  Besides, my reasoning is when the breed is accepted  Whites will have a better shot at winning Best of Breed over the cream or crele.   Judges (around here anyways) seem to like white over colors  (in all breeds) because it is easier to judge and less subjective.

Only got them as they were a smaller bird that might do well here. Group I had completely disappointed. Hardly laid eggs when they did one was soft. Took a 5 month molt. Hardly the breed I want here.

What is the acceptable terminology for the breed now.
