I am okay. Haven't seen hide nor hair of Duckling since I gave her bio-parents one last chance to get her to the doctor. My furnace had to have work done on it Friday ($$ and six people) and yesterday, Rota Rooter made a call. ($$$$) He said he almost couldn't fix the issue.
Haha! I can at least say that I don't have to worry about my septic tank for another five years or so!

Well, that is an expensive mess.

I saw the "expensive mess" line and panicked! That clutch was originally destined for Montana, but wouldn't make it til Tuesday. Amazing that you're just as far from me, according to the postal service.

Edit: but they're still only six days old, so I have hope!

Found out I was nearly outa grounds long before shopping day... I get coffee from the grocery store, coz it's cheaper.

And to the first, I am a person. I know that is hard to believe. Even your birds get their names capitalized. So, "Good morning abi" is not nice.
"Good morning, Abi." or "Good morning, Abi!" are appropriate.
