I just don't like cut flowers....never heard of Alex & Ani.

No buying dead flowers here either, plants are much nicer, don't usually have to throw them away.
Never heard of 'Alex & Ani' either, never heard of a 'Bi Lo' either, thought that the chick down south when I was looking for a liquor store that sold Tim Smith's from 'the moonshiner's' moonshine was sending me to a crack house, DW asked where do we go? IDK, left right left through the stop light 'way back behind the 'bi low', is what she said, and laughed...took her directions, scared, NY plates in South Carolina...Holy crap! BIG store sign 'Bi-Lo"!! and right back way behind it, biggest nicest darn liquor store I've ever seen. Had the longest conversation ever with the owner, awesome! He had in the parking lot the same truck I had back at home, '73 GMC Jimmy full convertible, like a giant jeep his was absolutely beautiful, mine is a 4x4 though, great conversation.

Or how about a gift certificate we could all chip in on for Sally for eggs from MyPetChicken

Maybe we all could pledge some eggs, shipped? I don't have anything special, just pure naked necks and white giants, but a lot of us have some super cool breeds. I'd be in if she wanted them....? We could send her hundreds of eggs, hope she has a huge cabinet!!

Of course I can. Flower wise she prefers like peach colour. Plant wise, she like ferns, but the kids give her those for mother's day, hat to take that away from them.  @daxigait

I'm totally in and would contribute. Just PM me if/when you figure something out in case I miss you on the thread. Having been involved in something like this recently at work, I'd like to humbly suggest that however we do it, that the amount that each person contributes be anonymous, so everyone is free to give according to their budget comfortably...
I agree - I've done gift certificates a lot with my family members recently. It's sort of fun to take the time to play around in their minds thinking of what they COULD get before they spend it. 

That is why I messaged MPC thinking we could all PayPal a couple of bucks or more if you wanted, and then it all goes in one certificate and no one on the thread knows who gave what. It is not important anyway as everyone is in a different position.
