CAN I PLEASE GET SOME HELP. I have been getting horrible hatch rates lately. Last year I never got a hatch rate above 50% and same with this year. They develop perfectly up to day 18 with a humidity of 30-40% but during hatch half of them don't even pip. Also way too often when they start to zip they can't make it out. Right now I have one stuck in its position and one that most likely died overnight. Can I please get some help I am completely desperate.

I heard about the dry hatch meat hod but around my house humidity is very low, around 15%. Is that too low or should I try it.

Let me start with throwing this at you, to research calibration etc. egg storage and such.
And asking you What type of bator pics if you have them, fan or no fan, what temps you run, general location. And see if we can help you.

Eggs are no older than ten days old? stored air cell up turned daily in a cool place? but not egging mold or bacteria growth? no washing eggs?
Flock is your own what breeds and ages? What are you feeding and do they have free feed do you suppliment for your location, adding extra vits etc?

We have some 3 weeks in April, a wonderful holiday Passover, and then at 20 of June 70 days! But now is the pick working time of the year!

Wonderful, have any vacation plans? Are exams going on now?

Full of exams, the Matriculation is at 4 of May, and the lab test at the 18 of May, DW is talking about Croatia, will see, have some heavy expense that need to take in consideration.

Not really, I adjusted the RH from 20% on the factory settings to 45%. it just doesn't seem to want to stay anywhere constant. I add a little tiny bit of water and then it stays around 37-40% for a little bit but then it just goes all over the place. Right now it is at 29%.

Did you know that when I came home from the hospital all the chicks were hatched that day, there were two two serama stuck zipping and I made him do the ugly deed because he didnt check my bator the entire time I was in, nor turn the eggs in the other bator, this hatch is gonna hatch just fun I can see already
