  dang, I cant help you.....    but 40 CX do you have a big nuff freezer or you having a major BBQ party this summer?

We have 2 freezers. One HUGE one and a smaller one for overflow. I'm more concerned about coop space at night lol. Maybe we'll get a couple layers so we have more eggs throughout the winter but that much meat is hard to pass up lol

Caprine bucket feeder. It comes with multiple nipples. Devices hoses a cleaner and a metal frame that you screw onto an old rim to give it weight. Then the kids can eat free choice.

It's day 14. I candled them all and they are all much bigger! The air cells are all looking good. And One was nibbling at the shell!

And then another kicked around I clearly saw a super tiny webbed foot!

2 more weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello again Banty! Good to see everyone again - old & new!

I'm so itching to hatch eggs again - so am just re-reading & re-learning.....but I suppose it's like riding a bike, right?

I think I found a kitty.... just trying to figure out how to get it. LOL

Goat question - if I have to make a trip, that will result in me skipping a feeding for the baby goats, can I feed them a little more at breakfast time to compensate for it, and a little bigger dinner?

I don't want to over-feed them and cause any problems, but skipping a mid-day feeding for young goats isn't great, either.

How old are they? I wouldn't give them to much extra. If they are old enough and eating hay or grains leave them some of that.

I'm in trouble here...




I knew nothing about this before today. I buy 2, 100lb bags of feed every 2 weeks here. So, now I have my first slip for 10 CX and by my calculations, I'll be there at least 3 more times for feed before april 15th, which means about 40 CX lol

I'd be in trouble too. Stock up on feed before that starts.

Very important question.please help.my goose is refusing to get out the nest boxes she just layed and after no eggs for two days.her eggs can't be fertile because we got rid of ourl Drake like two months ago.but I cracked one open before she starting acted like this and it b is fertile what how.???? What do I do with her she has been staying for two days now won't get out at all with no eggs

For the same reason geese take 35 and Emus take 60, larger birds require a longer time to develop.
