What is humidity now, and what is humidity with no water?[/quote] the humidity with water is 55 and without it goes to just under 40. The aircells are pretty small so I'm not sure whats going on

Sorry not enough info to even begin to answer.

What type of incubator?  Humidity levels?   How small is too small in you experience?

I know others here pay a lot of attention to air sacs, I do not.  I am not big on candling, I candle to throw out the dead and non-starters.   What does the embryo look like? Is it normal for day 14?
I have the 48 egg incubator not sure of the model name. Well it hasn't dipped down yet I'd say the size of a 50p (I'm from the uk) the embryos look nice and healthy everything looks fine it's just the air cells

Humidity is way too high IME, try and reduce to 25%....

So my goose was.broody right.well none of her eggs would be fertile because no gander.well my muscovy started laying and lays her eggs she under the goose well she at nine eggs now and one already has veino and heartbeat bUT what about the others the duck keeps laying.
you need to keep the ducks from laying under her and have your incubator ready

@BantyChooks When do you think they'll pip?
they'll pip when they are ready, when did you set? and what kind are they?

I need some help. So I've have had (due to advice) had the humidity at 30-40% during incubation. Today I filled the actual water resivoirs under the eggs to get to 55% about. But the humidity is at 64% and I am not sure how to get the water out!
65 is fine

Snow? I'm at the pool!

It was very good. I am not adventurous-cali rolls and spicy tunas-lots of wasabi

I am a "fisherwoman"-I love to fish but don't like a lot of seafood. Being from Michigan and my ex husband from Kentucky, lots of perch, bluegill, sunfish, bass, crappie and catfish

My birds have replaced fishing although I do have a nice pond that I may just do some pole fishing when the weather breaks.

In short, my hand is worse than when the injury happened and the Dr. has no idea of what is wrong but admits something is not right. Since it is past the normal 4 month healing period, comp and disability are getting more difficult and no all of a sudden, they want the "independent medical eval" that I had requested prior to surgery but was denied

I have retained an attorney who I have been consulting since just prior to the surgery and he is confident that there will not be a problem getting me the care I need to return to the best function possible. Thank you for all you well wishes, prayers and optimism. All is in God's hands and He always has a plan.

I love seeing pics of all of you and your birds and hearing about your hatchings.

sorry about your hand but i am glad that you have an attorney to help you
Two of Pancake's eggs are internally pipped! It's the moment of truth for her.

I was so frazzled that I didn't realize until it was mostly all over that I hadn't documented anything like I needed to. So I just let it go.

Ralphie, can you please hatch me a hippogriff? Or maybe a thestrel?

sorry,

i'd love a thestral!
Only shell. Small hole, but with a flashlight I can see the membrane.
need to cover the hole

Bad day for fruit here. Any that survived the last few nights are surely gone now.
It is 16F out there now.

I'm not holding out much hope for most of it. The apricot bloomed weeks ago and the fruit was growing. Green fruit in apricots are 90% killed at 25F so they are lost.
My peaches are in full bloom as are the plums. The apples and pear buds are swollen and about to open.
Peaches in full bloom are lost at 24F and plums are killed at 23F so both of those are gone too.
Pears at first white are killed at 19F so some may survive.
Apples at the stage mine are, are killed at 15F so they should make it.
Everything was a month or more ahead of normal.
that stinks

i hope some of them are ok
Had to open my big mouth my pure bliss lasted almost 2 min. It's ok this is good too.
lol, i hope he is a good little guy and likes to sit with his daddy

I am not sure what you are seeing either A picture would help.

But if you are running 50% and it only dips to 40% you should be fine, I would not go up from that until day 18 or 19., Is it a foam incubator? What are the temps?

If they look healthy, I would be reluctant to do anything.
