I'm worried I shrink wrapped all my chicks on accident. I opened their incubator to put water into their cup and saw them all cracked - I missed the lockdown stage, and they are all alive, but none of them have gotten further than getitng their beaks out into the air. One of them looks shrink wrapped after the shell fell off.


Ugh. I don't know if I should try to help, or just let nature take its course

What do you mean the shell fell off? A big piece from a zip?

I put it in the oven to pretend I made it, but they KNEW I did not! lmao! I want rueben sammys or paninis! smells yummy!!

The boy is a split silver/gold duckwing and the girls are 1 silver DW, 1 golden DW, and 2 gold DW [COLOR=B42000] [/COLOR] I thought this one was a boy for a long time, but it's not! Haha This is the dad.

Another beautiful breed! When I get tempted though I just go clean chicken coops and think I don't want anymore to clean.

while I agree that it is often good to let nature take its course, since you are incubating and think you might have caused an adverse condition maybe you should help.

Yes,and I was able to see the chick stuck to the membranes. I wetted it, and am hoping it can get enough traction to get itself out.
