Quote: We've been practicing letting them out of their pen to wander the grounds. They've gotten really good at running at me if they hear my voice, then following me around looking for the stuff I don't want them to eat.BUT I think we're close to me being able to lead them around the grounds to knock down brush all over. When I try to sneak off they always notice and follow me back, so I guess I need my eno and a book.![]()
cool!!! I cant do a thing without four goats a goose and a spoiled old hen at my heals, I have tripped so many times this year its really NOT funny!!!
Put the new roof on the buck pen yesterday and was told he would NEVER do anything near goats again, no wonder they are called kids, they are a pain in the ask he says!! Im like yeah nothing new to me!! lol sometimes I wish they were not spoiled so much!!! like watering and feeding anything out there!!! or just sitting relaxing!!
My son got nosey when I put them into the incubator. He didn't realize the little metal thing on the top was the temp controller and he did what most nosy, teenage boys do, he fiddled with it. I came home a few hours later and it was a 104.5 in there... I immediately got the top off, tried to get the temp down... But I'd been gone for a good chunk of time with it that high....wheres the poop pic? mornin Kat, get my tag?

So when the eggs had a bunch looking viable at lock down, I was... surprised. LOL I'd been pretty hands off with this batch, other than turning and keeping an eye on temps.Your's love chicken feed, too?Sally, good news is my goats have outgrown some of that. Baby Beaux will still jump up looking for loves if I'm in the pen holding something delicious, and they both get totally stupid for chicken feed, but roaming the yard now they're not as bad.
@MotorcycleChick
I get my own picture??!?!!? And it's a DUCK DOG! :O

Mine do as well. They get really stupid and annoying when I'm trying to refill feeders.Your's love chicken feed, too?
