(Addictive, isn't it?!)

Yes! And Yes!

Seems like yesterday that i set the eggs and now they are hatching. Time sure passed fast! Boy, you guys KEPT on saying it was taking FOREVER till the hatch, that it seemed like an eternal wait. I TRIED to tell you it would pass by fast, but you refused to listen! (Boy, it is taking forever till i get to hold them!)

All unhatched magpies have pips. Mc is working hard. And i have another ancona pip. I might have more but i can not tell since the ducklings are playing soccer.

Sweet! Lol

Oregano? Or Thyme?
We don't have here the classic oregano Origanum vulgare but on of its cousins called Origanum syriacum or as we call it Zatt'ar זעתר.
But we have some marvellous wild Thyme that upgrade every dish ! Its called Thymus capitatus and it is wonderful!

Oregano they are calling it Wild Zaatar Origanum syriacum sound the same as what you have.

The Thyme sounds awesome. I used to have an oregano from Mexico that the leghorns ate. None of the other chickens ever bothered it. It was very good and grew as a large bush. Was hoping for the same with this one from Israel as it sounded the same.

Just looked the variety of Thyme up and they don't list it. They do have a wild one called Thymus pulegiodes

You should know that this plants need a good deranged soil and it is sensitive to excess of water, and it needs a sunny place.

Quote: I incubate upright and hatch with the eggs lying down, but egg cartons certainly work (this was the shipped egg batch with bad air cells):

Hoping the eggs show up soon!!!

Yeah for adorable duck babies.

They had mixed ducklings at TSC - and I resisted. *nod nod*
I have to resist every time I go in there. I try not to look, it's so hard...

Well, busy day ahead. Lots of sanding and sealing lumber, working on building more housing. I'm considering buying a trailer (finally) - tired of having to do so many separate trips to Home Depot for lumber. TSC has the trailers on sale. So I'd better get going...

- Ant Farm
I bought a 12' landscape trailer, single axle, a whole bunch of years ago; it's held up well, and still has the original floor.
