EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Wow . Well it was easier than usual ! I guess it is a sunny day with no clouds.
looks great! Not worried about over heating anymore More protein maybe though
Won't hurt their bottom line in the least; they'll just write it off as a business loss. I doubt they'll lose any sleep over the lost birds.
Agreed lol
my poor grumpy chitlins :(
:hugs poor babies :hugs
One more question ... well do not hold me to it okay. Can I Nutri Drench to their fermented feed or kibble? The kibble has fish in it and other things...long list. Will it go rotten ? Or should I offer these things seperately? I do not want to overdose them by giving them too many things.
you can add stuff to it, I think chickencanoe or was that pens master and akrnaf do
Sorry no time to read back. Pellet stove is in. Mirror came for the surburban that is the next project. Fixed fence darn need oh still need to get picks of beef. 2 boys have ear infections and me, the 2 yr old and mama have pink eye. But lock down complete.

I know it went fast for once. I must have counted the days on the calendar 50 times.

Where do I find the ferment feed thread?

I don't know, but I know Sally and I can help!
Decide how much feed you need for two or so days. Add a "glug" or two of apple cider vinegar with the mother (Braggs and Heinz make it). Add enough water to cover the feed. Stir it daily for three days. Add water to keep it just above the top of the feed. IT WILL EXPAND! When ready, it will bubble (which amuses the heck out of me!) and have a slightly yeasty smell.

Sally likes it cakey. That means it won't have sitting water, and won't need strained. I make it wet (bubbles!!) unless I have a lot of chickens to feed. Replace water and feed daily.
At first, the flock will devour it. After about a week, you will notice they are eating less and less. Eventually, you will see a significant savings on your feed bill.
If you have 20 or so birds, you can make it by the bag. I always had 50+ pounds of feed going.

Wow, thats a lot of chicks!

Hey guys I have a question, who should I use as a second professional reference? I really don't want to use more than one person from my current job, and my last employment place was destroyed in the Joplin tornado. Thethe owner is dead and everyone I knew is scattered to the four winds. I have held my current job for 10 years and the one before that for almost 5. That makes any other reference ancient history.@ChickenCanoe @kwhites634
Minister, maybe your instructor in the Martial Arts you take.

@daxigait
The only "Professionals" I can think of that might be viable, considering you length of service with the current company and the demise of the owner of the prior company would be whoever taught you the trade, like a Schneider, or perhaps a former Dispatcher.
