long story...
Good! It can use whichever rest room it wants. Thanks, Obama

Did you get them from adjduncan? She has some really nice DC, would have picked up eggs last time we were down there if it wasn't so far out of our way. I couldn't get DW to go two hrs out of our way to get eggs Lol!

I'm not sure. eBay seller bluestarpoultry

Last time I drove 4 hours for some chicks one way. I dropped the wife and mil off at sisters half way. They visited as I finished the rest of drive.

That right there is why I don't buy live animals to be shipped through mail...

Hope they arrive safely.
When you live rurally, you have no other way of getting access to speciality birds. Sebastapol geese aren't a thing around here. And, i've had such bad luck with shipped eggs in the mail, I wouldn't want to waste the money on the eggs, just to not have any hatch.

No, the guy who used to be really good about calling me, doesn't work there anymore, and I haven't been able to get him to call me when stuff comes in like the other guy did. That's why I called Metzer farms to figure out where my birds where yesterday, they weren't at the post office when I stopped by.
Tracking put them as arriving today. Metzer said to call them if the birds didn't make it when I pick them up at the post office. It's scanned as arrival date, and I already talked to them and expressed my concerns about their health at the extra day in the mail.

They said they should be okay if I pick them up in the AM - but the last time this happened, I lost half of the animals that got shipped. :(

These geese are 75 each.......... i'm not happy if they die.

That's a bummer. When I have animals shipped I try to get the tracking number and always provide a tracking number to customers if I ship.
I recommend anyone having animals shipped to them to get the phone number of the sorting room at their local PO. It is a different number in most places than the main number in the phone book. They won't answer the main number before business hours but they will answer the one in the sorting room. I have the number of mine in magic marker on a feed bin in the brooder house so I can call while I'm making last minute adjustments to the brooders.
