I got to wake my kids up this morning with a tiny little serama chick Ever since @sally sunshine sent me a couple eggs, the kids have been DYING to see one hatch. Unfortunately, I think it will be the only one. Only 2 of 4 made it to lockdown and the one didn't look good then. Still, they were absolutely thrilled (and I only had to wake them up once)!

Can anyone kindly tell me how every time I try and take a few chicks off my short list for this year, it grows instead?

Where'd I get the idea you have several acres?

Toss in a turkey hatchling quick, before they're fully awake; they'll never notice.
