@Fire Ant Farm We have the same lawnmower. I have to stay on top of my grass also, especially around the pond. Seedlings quickly take root and become TREES before I know it. I wish I had taken the time to really clean up around the pond during the drought, would have saved me a lot of work that I have to deal with now.

Good morning Heather. Same here on the pond. Trying to get it back up and running. It will take a backhoe at this point to get rid of weeds. I think I'll leave the dead tree for fish hideouts though. It's a small pond but takes lots of time.

I only try to maintain the edge on about half of the pond, the part that my daughter plays around the most. But, as you can see, the rest needs some serious work. I just don't have the time for all the upkeep.
