lol no worries, it took me awhile but i found it, now i just need to try it!

I lost my first girl today, Skye. She got out of the run somehow and my Doberman got her. I am heartbroken and feel so horribly guilty. She was 19 weeks old this week. She died on the way to the vets office.

I don't blame my dog- his prey drive is extremely high and it is instinctual. Still sucks...

I'm so sorry!! That must have been so difficult to find. I'm glad you don't blame the dog.

I have an Akita/Lab mix. I believe the Lab in her is WAY stronger than the Akita. I had tiny chicks when I got her as a puppy. She gets to lick each baby before they go outside. I have a dozen of so hens that wander the yard, and she ignores them. She likes to play with the ones that are penned up - she will charge up to the fence, stick her nose through, they peck her, she backs away and does it again. But my cats, have killed several chicks. The cats don't go outside, so I don't know what they would do with the adults.

Again, I'm sorry you lost her!!!
