Candle's about to burn out, and I'm afraid of the dark, so I better go to bed while it's still safe.
Night John Boy... I'd better do the same.
Wonder why we were called crazies?
I can't think of a single reason....

If you're out in grizzly territory, don't bother with the spray... He'll just think you're pre-seasoning yourself.
ETA: Despite me being sarcastic about it, it supposedly is actually a fairly effective defense.
I'm regularly popping in 1000's of posts behind. It's overwhelming some times. I am also going through chick starter and grower feed at an alarming rate. The chicks are growing so fast!!Oh, wow. 1000+ posts behind - don't think I'll be able to read back. Staying busy, chicks are growing fast, I'm going through chick starter at an alarming rate, and there aren't enough hours in the day.

It's absolutely pouring outside. This is what came down last night not including the downpour we are getting right now. The new dam on the pond didn't hold. I've rebuilt it but it's probably going to go again. Will need concrete bags lined up in it to hold I'm afraid.

Duck people how do you keep your ducklings area clean? My mom wanted ducks so bad that my dad bought 7 ducklings at TSC the other night and I am taking care of them for her but these things are messy!
I'm glad, really; you had me wondering what I'd had stolen lately![]()
Your DW's heart?
In a land far, far away, in another century.
Me neither, but you'd think it likely....
You will likely need an extra one while out hiking.
I will have a guide in the Tetons so it is their deal. I will be by myself in Yellowstone unless things change. I have a camp site the first night near another group which is good. The second I won't. I won't not live just for the outside chance. Bear spray is supposed to be very good. I am also going later in the summer when many of the bears will have moved up to higher ground according to the rangers. No guarantees though. What happens when Mr. Bear ignores your spray? Will the guide be able to stop him in his tracks if the situation goes south in a hurry?
