Is the refrigerator new?
If it is, the Lemon Law (which may be different in different states) says you only have to give them 3 chances to fix it before they replace it. Had to go that route with a lawn mower once.

I haven't even finished paying for it. It's 1 year and couple months. We have had them in for the ice maker at least 5 times. This time we asked for a new one and they said the tech had to make that decision. We told the tech that and he said he gets so tired of them saying that. It's his job to fix it not make a company decision of replacing it. He did find some good issues with the fridge and showed me what to do for future problems however the ice maker still isn't working. We will be calling the company again.
