Thanks - but it's on purpose to have them like that at the corners - makes up part of the conduit resting spot, and also as the place where the four parts go together. The inner ones are indeed lap joints, as you can see. But thanks!

Mmmmmmmm.....

Quote: The embryo is repositioning itself in the egg during those days. I think the idea is to discourage taking them out and handling them during that time.

Here's the image with the explanation.

yes its from Pas reform, HOWEVER I hatch just fine in coolerbators run on lights

??? I don't think lights have anything to do with it. I think the idea was to not pick up and then turn the eggs this way and that a lot. (Suppose I could be wrong...)

Got really good sleep from 9:30 until about 1:30, then after that I was up with bad wrist pain - that's what happens when you use a pneumatic stapler all day. Heading to work today, so hopefully that will be enough of a break (Because I sure do have to start up again as soon as I can to get 'er done.)

Stay safe and dry, everyone.

It's been so wet here the chickens don't even want to come out.

Thanks for the condolences Banty and Sally. Yeah, it's a bite but not much you can do except dig holes and hang on for dear life. Hopefully when this runs it's course I'll be left with enough resistant birds to hatch resistant chicks from. Time will tell. I won't give up, just changing course.

The kind thst passes lyme disease?

I don't know as I took it off during my sleep.... Just kind of scratched while half awake.

Lymes is so common here the Dr's don't test for it or give an antibiotic until you have the disease and have negative side effects. They use to give preventive antibiotics but I think they found the entire population was on antibiotic 80% of the summer.
