I successfully managed to scare myself with my own dead snake about 15 times this morning.

Scratch the swimming lesson; pupil got loose. I intended to carry the trap by the handle, but I figured he might be able to reach around the plate below the handle & snag the heavy glove I was wearing, so I got a crow bar, hooked it through the handle, & proceeded to drag the trap across the yard. Got to within 15' of the trash can, & discovered the keeper that holds the door shut was disengaged. I'm sure he did it by laying on his back & pushing it up, then somehow worked his way under the door w/o me seeing him. I'm surprised, as mad as he was, that he didn't come after me.

I'll invest the ammo from now on

That's to bad about swimming lessons being canceled.
