Thanks, but we are talking about Abi, she didn't post for some days now, that isn't typical... and with her "unique " family situation it is some what concerning.

Good Morning all, I told Abi you were looking for her...maybe she will pop in!

Last night I went out to check on my broody and she was off of her nest. She somehow cracked open one of her eggs and the nest was invaded with ants. This is the first time I've been able to see exactly how many eggs she was sitting on...

26!!!!

Crazy broody! I cleaned out the nest, sprayed some vinegar to discourage the ants, and gave her 11 eggs back. Not sure how long she was off, and I hope they were still alive. I only got rid of the ones that were infertile or dead in shell (best I could tell).
