The Jewish people have more religious holidays and the like than any other group I think. They have plenty of days off for them ;)

Good to know, thanks! I don't see myself hatching often, would prefer a broody take care of it. I want to add a couple naked necks and cream legbars eventually but going to start with eggs from my ee roo and pullet.

Got a while to wait, she hasn't started laying yet.

I bought this one about 30 years ago, maybe more, for a bunch of quail eggs. It's had a total of 3 hatches run through it.

I, too, much prefer a broody. I keep the incubator ready in case she quits. Have one setting 11 eggs right now.
