Not sure how you cast the elephant, but I do know when going for monster bass you have to troll fast with them.

You don't cast the elephant; you cast the fly
My guess is, you would use aircraft cable.
Easy to see you haven't fished in a while.

Skeeters are nothing compared to black flies... Trust me... I have both.

I know me too..... but the skeeters are as big as eagles....

always use a stinger hook..... or they'll just bite the tail off
