Nice! I picked my first real big tomato last week, it weighed half a pound. I've got some that I think weigh quite a bit more but they aren't ripe.

Other years when I put more effort into it I've gotten tomatoes before I put the plants In the ground. But now that I have birds too I put more effort into them

I posted them on here earlier, I can post again. I used all my seeds and only got about 4 plants left. (rabbits ate most ) so I hope to save some seed for next year.

Thanks. Apparently wild rabbit do too. Haven't lost any fruit but I go out and find almost all the foliage missing and no catapillers.

I know I should cull him.....but I won't they are just pets. Non of my last hatch of AC's showed any leakage or white toe nails.

Honestly, I like him better than the plain AC.

Also bubbles MARTIN is a great rooster.... keeps the hens all in line. And gets between them and anything he sees as danger

When I sell hatching eggs locally here I tell people they aren't perfect and if they want perfect they will have to breed them to get there

My cats pretty much keep the wild rabbits down....squirrels mice and chipmunk too.
They are stone cold killers.... my ginger kitty loves peppery plants and beans too.
Whenever in snapping green beans she begs.... or steals them
