Some southern Albertan on another thread raising rabbits & turning them loose hoping the coyotes will concentrate on them & leave his birds alone

Did I stick my 2 cents in? What do you think?

What thread? I have a couple loose bunnies...certainly not food for the coyotes. To bring coyotes in...yikes. That's not going to end well.

I agree with you both.
But some remarks if I may
1. Cruelty have not a fixed definition, it is by the viewer point of view.
I am sure thst there are people, vegan for example, that think that what we are doing with ouer birds, or you shooting a dear, is not less disgusting.
2. I object to the term " inhuman " to describe somthing Cruel. Because the biggest AUTHORITIES in history was made, and ARE made by humans. The Holocaust, ISIS, Caligula, Nero cizar, the inquisition in the Catholic world, the slavery in the US, ect, ect
So please spare me the "moral fasads" of humanity.
3. You should distinguish between the brutal injury of the bird, and the its amazing recovery !
Inhumane... Not inhuman. I know birds and that bird was in pain. Don't care what he did with it, that bird was not happy. When we kill birds, we kill them quickly, without torture... Breaking a bird's legs or whatever he did to it isn't in the same ballpark. Just IMO.

I said "inhumane" not inhuman. There is a difference, a huge one.

I read quite a few of the replies his original post generated; all negative to one degree or another. I wonder if he posted knowing the shock value would cause quite a stir & he's sitting back enjoying the show.
