EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

so - This week my agenda is a duck pen, with housing, and a milking stand. I'm pretty sure i'll have my milking stand by tonight, since my husband was not a fan of milking the goat this morning! LOL

But the duck pen? I'm still figuring out exactly what I want that to look like. I'll have 4 , full sized, cochins living with my ducks, too.

still fighting off the headache. I don't like taking pain meds, so I have to hope caffeine gets the job done.

My kids ate the goats milk with breakfast. In cereal, and in glasses. My oldest had left over BBQ meat with a big glass of milk this morning, and my younger two ate it in cereal. They fed the left overs to our great pyr when she's done.

I'm going to have to figure out how to either shake it up so the fat doesn't seperate (there's not a lot of fat - but it's enough the kids complained about chunks.)

I've been googling duck pen ideas... what are some of your favorite, cheap, pens? Once they are full sized, they can have more space to run around, I just need them to survive until adulthood. My oldest ducks are getting feathers and out growing their brooder, I think they are ready to move outside.

The other ducks will be following in about 2-3 weeks.
