You're better off for that. They are actually a very pretty low lying weed to start. Nice yellow flowers then the get the seed head. If done right they pull up easily and I've been known to do this without gloves however on days where I'm going after them specifically I have gloves on.

Most weeds I tolerate now. Those I will not. They also travel on car tires as they stick in every thing making them more difficult to control. Bicycle tires are no match for them, you'll be walking if you get one in your tire.

So if you don't have these weeds....wait you still have those blooming flies. Never mind

I haven't cleaned my coop out since last December, so I still find chunks of their feathers in the bedding sometimes. Poor things.

I don't use pine shaving I use straw or hay but I have taken it right out of the coop and mulched plants with it and had no problem. The figs actually set more fruit and ripen faster this year than last year and the blackberries have gone insane.

Sweet. I think I'll give it a try. What else am I gonna do with it anyway!
