EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Nope. all the toads are safe and sound. I have moved them to a more secure area. I am going to move them all in the next few days to their own coop and run.
That's good news. It sounds like a lot of work put in to raising those toads. I'd like to cook one whole like a turkey and see what it was like. I bet it would be great!

Welcome. Didn't help ya much though. Lol whatever my dad got grows good and no thorns. Covered in big juicy berries last year only trouble is getting to them before the birds do
Pesky birds are quick. When we lived in town our two dogs would eat them off the vine. The vines weren't thornless it was quite a site seeing them eat the berries with out getting stabbed with a thorn.

Dang. Dogs must be smarter than I am then. When I was a teenager me and a friend used to go hunt in her wooded area for wild blackberries. We would come back looking like we had been to war! One time out we picked a five gallon bucket of them!

Wow that took some time. All our berries are wild here. The recent heat usually fries them.
Yes the dogs one a Rottweiler and one a dachshund would bare their lips back and gingerly pick them. One getting the lower and one getting the upper berries. We used to think the birds were getting them.

I went to a meeting a few weeks back wearing cut-offs. My legs are all scratched by those darn needles and stickers on all the berries and stuff in the woods from mushroom hunting. I wear heavy camo colored canvass like coveralls and heavy shirts (camo also, I don't want anyone finding my shrooms),,,,, when foraging for them..

The guy I was sitting next to looked at my legs (perv) and said "you havea new cat at home?"....
