I am going to try one on the smoker is 3 weeks. I a not sure how long I have to smoke it for. This one is just over 15 pounds. I have him dressed and in the freezer now.

I am thinking 8-10 hours..They are so juicy roasted, I think over smoke they should melt in the mouth.

I recently did a half turning breast, 13+ pounds took about 5 hours at 225* F.

The difference between eggs and tomatoes is tomatoes do not carry salmonella on them.

I have some apple woood and cherry wood to chose from...Or I could go buy some new wood....Which would you use?

Either should work fine.

Awwwww

I cooked breakfast one morning on an overnight fishing trip after handling bloodworms and not washing my hands. I lived, somehow.

The things you do when fishing. :lau
No wet wipes?

:lau

I'm guessing a fishing trip with men, thus no wet wipes.

Actually, I know shome frieds who are thinkign of getting chickens, and I said that they coudl have the hatch (I've got 9 eggs)

That's nice of you!

I think DH has Pac Man. I thought it was too expensive to buy....lol.
Loved it in the arcade though.:love

We still have both of our working Ataris. With games! :woot

Good evening. What did you get into today? Anything exciting?

Nothing exciting, cut the goat's mini pasture, played with dogs, worked on their down stays.

I can see we are talking about two different things;)...but the name hydro confused things. :wee

Our electric company is called Manitoba hydro. I'm assuming hydro because some of the electric power is produced from water plants up north. I'm talking about a telephone pole...or a large pole they hook your electric power up to in rural areas. It was once a large tree.

Our water comes from our well in the ground.:yesss:

Yes, Hydro confused me, I assumed water.

Same here...

When I was a kid, all I had was a stick and a string :old

I only had a stick.

And I'm so glad our land is flat. No hills to contend with.

I like our gently rolling hills.

This seems crazy cheap and there are all sorts of alarm bells going off with this add, even so others are selling them for ~$20.
Guess you get what you pay for, but it puts the possibility of incubation into almost anyone's budget

Someone was asking questions about that incubator earlier.

X2 on the ice skates.

X3 on ice skates, well after we moved to Ohio, not much use for them in Georgia.

I never used my skates much because it was severely frowned upon to skate in the house (,) and the roads were all dirt.

Now, ice skates on the other hand... Those got used.
Your family must've been rich. Otherwise you'd have had dirt floors.

I'm amazed you had any use for them in Ohio either. Does the ice really get that solid there?

We had concrete sidewalks. However they were quite a challenge skating they were so cracked up from tree roots.
