Sorry Ive been MIA my friends :bow My health is not good. All kinds of problems with workmans comp and my hand. Horrible side effects from the meds but taking them because nothing else helps the horrible pain. Very depressed. Hoping I can make a local bird show this weekend-the birds are my saving grace and they deserve to be shown off :love Please let me know if I missed anything important and forgive & ignore any typing errors as its so hard to do. Miss you all :hugs Mel

He believes that they're both pullets. I plan on using them to breed with Cornish cross to add some height to future generations and those babies back to Cornish cross. Eventually maybe I'd get a male and breed them pure but it really depends on how much I like them.
Will height be an issue and if so can you do this cross by AI

We live 20 minutes from town. Can't justify it either and don't have the time because we're working.

We do however stop for coffee at 4:45 every day to chat with the boy to hear how his day went at school. Sometimes now I change it into supper so we don't lose time.
We seat for breakfast and supper together every day!(very important for knowing what is planned for the day, and how the day passed ) But in the last few months ouer older have finished his school so its day isn't so routine and he doesn't seat with us regularly exept from Shabat dinner (Friday night ).

Good morning! :frow

Once school's out it does throw things out of whack a bit....lol. Here too sometimes, like tomorrow. He won't be home because his class volunteered to work at a weekend celebration at a local town.

But usually we eat breakfast together (unless I'm on here too late :D) dinner and supper together. We farm.

I had 11 hatch out of 17.
2 were empty and 6 were dead in shell fully developed.. why is that?
I am attempting my first incubator hatch. I have done a lot of research here. It sounds like your Humidity was a little to high during setting and some of your chicks may have drowned at pipping.
Is it Possible to have " too much" Humidity? (INCUBATION)

You are asking? Declaring? What?
As you can clearly see I was attempting to give Chicken George a answer to his question with my very limited experience .

Is it Possible to have " too much" Humidity? (INCUBATION)

Is a different thread that goes into much detail about this subject.
