Sometime between late last night and early this morning Piggy Sue had TEN piglets, all alive There are nine real good looking ones and a runt, we helped the runt get milk but that's about all we can do for it. . She seems to pay a good bit a attention to them, watching her stand up or lie down with that many piglets was impressive.

Here in Maryland, gov't sharpshooters will come in during closed season & thin the herd by essentially shooting anything that moves & letting it lay, rather than giving it to the rescue mission, but they won't let the civilian hunters come in & shoot them & put the meat to good use.

Seriously! What a crock of s***! Would think that would cause disease to spread by leaving carcasses everywhere. Not to mention all the hungry people that could use the meat.

It is a very common governmental STUPIDITY!!
They can ,in close season, sell tags to hunters according to the number they want to reduce.
