Tonight we leave again to house-sit and watch the dogs while the in-laws are on vacation. At least Husband and I only have to stay a week and we get Friday off for the national holiday. Gonna get some sleep since I stayed up all night doing pickling and folding laundry.

Shaping up to be a beautiful day here. 69* now, climbing to the 80's as the sun gets higher; RH in the 50's before the day's done. All in all, not bad for mid-July here.

A year ago today we were at a mountain cabin full of family (too many, actually) celebrating our 50th anniversary.

Got a date with a bunch of fish; hope I don't get stood up.

How are you?
I intend NOT to work in the summer vacation, (although I have checked matriculation exams for almost 15 years in the first month summer vacation ) First I am trying to RELAX, I read alot and watch many programs in youtube, this yesr is WW2, it is amazing how much can be learned from the net.
I will do some delayed projects in my house, Vist freinds and family, (on Thursday we visited Jerusalem light festival, till 2 a.m you can't believe how live and vibrant Jerusalem is an night! ) and will have the opportunity to do more sport!

That sounds great! I am so busy getting ready I find another week has passed I can't believe it.

I'd rather have the grizzly than the flies!

I hope not to meet a grizzly hiking in Yellowstone next month. I will take flies. I am more comfortable with my DEET and picaridin spray than I am with bear spray.
