I think everyone is losing interest in chickens in general. Feed store says their sales are way down. I know I'm going to be cutting down on mine. Too much work at times especially when it's 2000 degrees outside. For 5 days in a row. Not complaining though.

Pressure cooked?

I know at least here the market is beyond flooded. Pages of for sale livestock have about 20 listings for free roosters and just as many for hens. Means that poor old me, way out in the sticks, doesn't get any bites because nobody is going to drive 2 hours for chickens. I give up, I'm gonna grow them out and eat them all. Waste of the hens, but nobody wants them & I have too many. I'm trying to sell hatchery stock so I can replace them with Chanties.

My chickens are in my yard all day long. They even go inside the coop to eat. At night, they are nowhere to be found! I am lucky if I find three eggs, because lately it's only been one. I should get six or eight.
