My eyes are sensitive to light, so I love overcast days... Warm ones though, not cold ones!

Hmmmm, I don't know if either of you (or KW) are anti social. You socialize on here with people. That's not anti social. We may all be introverts who require time to ourselves to refuel. That's normal. I don't think anti social people give freely of their time. That means you care about people. I don't know what I am. I used to think I was anti social. I liked helping animals and I found out I like helping people. I think I was just painfully shy. Like a lot I was bullied terribly so I became very good at being invisible. I don't think I'm shy anymore though... Good people attract good people. Why'd ya think we're all on this thread.

Anyone remember a line in an old 80's song that says, "I am the heir of a shyness that is criminally vulgar." A classic one liner!!!

Benny, I used to be the bottom pic and now i am much more like top one I swear I feel like a T Rex with these hands and arms!!! This is the video I posted that offended so many people on how I feel on a "typical" day.......

I hope I can find some clear sky around here.

I'm about 15 miles from the path of totality. I was planning on driving farther into the path but worried about traffic. I'm waiting for the weatherman to show where the cloud cover is least.

Part of me wants to stay home to see how the chickens and bees respond.
I imagine the darkness may coax predators out as well.

From start to finish it will be 2 hours, 54 minutes at my house but still not totality.
You're supposed to be able to see mountain ranges on the moon as it moves across the sun. Planets will be visible too.

We're at about 80%. We were going to drive to get a better view but they need hubby at work. This will be neat though. We'll drive to the totality zone for the one in 2024

I have six that will be moved over there. Right now they just have a play pen and cages they get locked up in at night. I have two more that have their own fancy cage off the ground. They will stay there cause they are anti social. Lol. But I'll be able to use the play pen for them to get out more often when the others are moved.
