EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

If I did that for everything that broke, I wouldn't have any money left
Not a bad problem, just an annoying one.
You had nothing when you came into this world; you'll leave it the same way. I've decided, though, that if I can't take it with me, I ain't going?

Well and true, but I'd like to have some shiny stuff left in the interim. Without it, I can't have heat in the winter, & that's kinda necessary.

Thank you very much, and a wonderful start of weakened to you too!
3rd semester is THE deal!
Are you ready I mean REALLY ready to the fundamental change that a newborn bring to a couple life?

Is anyone REALLY ready? XD But in all seriousness, I've been a child care giver in some capacity for the past 12 years or so. Hopefully it helps, but just being a caregiver doesn't mean you can be a parent you know? All I can do is try my best.

3 of my hens are white, and the floor of the coop looks like it's snowed! It figures; I just replaced the bedding last week.

Don't ya hate when that happens?

OK, get this staggered hatch. The other day I had that broody hen, hatched four chicks. Then the next day she was up to six chicks. Yesterday she had seven, but one died, I believe a goat stepped on it. Well, this morning she has seven again. :lau

You just reminded me, we finally have an incubator! Husband's grandfather left it to us in his will, it's a little forced-air Vattuto 20 bator. Works fine but I'll be upgrading the thermometer and installing an auto-turner system if I can.
