EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Funny, but I never had a route as a kid.

I did from 5th grade until I was 16. I wanted to get a Siberian Husky. Parents told me if I got the money, I could buy one. Got a paper route in 5th grade, it was a local once a week paper with voluntary payment. Had that for about a year, then the daily paper route opens up, did that until I could legally work at 16. Yes, I got a Siberian Husky pup. :D

Kiki's about as good as she can be with 50 inches of rain. @KikisGirls
I feel really bad for the folks in Texas! I can relate.
It has rained just about everyday here for the last 2-3 months. We got almost 3 inches in 2 hours yesterday. The ground takes a long time to drain now.
My husband recorded this last evening during feeding his baby pig..
I can't conceive 50" of rain if this is only 3"!
YES THAT IS A HOT WIRE ACROSS THE LAKE. 8000 VOLTS.

I'm good....Haven't had water in my house yet! :woot:woot

I don't know where the other two live...I'm thinking further south Texas....from what I am seeing on the news the worst is over for them.
My worst will start happening today.

I just heard that officials are intentionally flooding some area to lessen the chance that the nearby reservoir fails.
Yes..this is true but it is not as bad as it sounds.
It will save many many more homes.
