Lots of extra work one doesn't need or want.

I'd be watching that closely.
The ones I have here were double that. I was going to stop in and get a measurement on them yesterday, but I was too sore to want to walk extra down those steps. I also forgot to bring a large bag to put it in...I wasn't about to bring a clean stryo incubator on a dirty bus.
I'll check them out next time I'm there with my own vehicle. My neighbor must order a lot of frozen food online..she is constantly throwing away large styrofoam ice chest thingies....I wonder if you could use them?Good morning everyone!!!
That's fantastic that things are "starting" to get back to normal for you.Lots of extra work one doesn't need or want.
Benny, I'm glad you found out that the eggs are not what you want. Google translated the info on the link so I could read about the types of hens. Very cool! Those look the very same as the production chickens one can get here...even the same names. I like your girls much better!.
Mr. Sterile, I like that! Should you attempt a try at that hatching, I wish you the very best!I'd be watching that closely.
I just found some nice looking styro incubators at the feed store in the town I was bussing. They're only $7 dollars!!!The ones I have here were double that. Right now I'm waiting for the pain meds to kick in so I can get up to make breakfast and get my chores down. Part of my day today will be setting all of my traps. Some ground predator got in and predated 3 of the roosters (2 were culls) So something's gonna die. I put up salt bags on step in posts last night until I was soaked. I'm still cold...lol. I'm sitting here right in front of the heater. It was down to 5C (32F) last night.

Styro incubators for $7? I hope that's a typo.Good morning everyone!!!

Yep...and those large chest thingies (as you put it)My neighbor must order a lot of frozen food online..she is constantly throwing away large styrofoam ice chest thingies....I wonder if you could use them?
Sorry to hear that your coop is not secure......(is that kinda mean?)
What in the world does "put up salt bags on post last night mean"???
Maybe Bubbles needs to let you borrow her moose hide jacket so you can keep warm?
would likely be sturdier than the some of the stryro coolers that you can buy. The vet also gets large sturdy coolers in. They've never called me that they've had one. (I think they forgot) The cooler has to be big enough for me to consider buying it. The wafer thermostat is $50 and each incubator requires one. $$$
My coop and the 40 main breeding roosters ARE secure.
I prefer to just stay at home and work...it's easier. It did get the one human aggressive roo. But it got my big EE/whatever else guy and my very first hatched Silkie guy. Not happy about the way any of them died...I never want any livestock to suffer. It appears it was quick. I'll see more in the light of day...but looks like it was pretty instant because they're laying exactly where they'd sit for the night.Look on the bright side...."IT" got roosters and we all know you have way too many.
I think "it" was just trying to help you!
