First skunk I trapped filled the trap head to tail.
Don't ever want to run across a fisher.
Traps have been quiet here lately. I can usually tell when one is in the area now as they dig small holes looking for grubs or something.

Oh I HATE when they do that. I've had one do that. I had a coon do that too and he damaged my trap! Still have to get a guy to bend it back into shape.

I was trying to catch rats in my smaller traps and I had a skunk tipping the traps to get the food out of them (he couldn't) but he'd set off the traps. Frustrating for the day or two before I got him...lol.

I had my gloves on me (Kiki...just no.) so I pulled the dead fisher out of the barrel to look at him. The pictures don't lie about the teeth...holy moly!

I'm afraid I may have to buy another trap as the metal rod holding the trip has fatigued to the point it won't trip right. I think I can get a friend to weld a piece on it at the bend to give it more life.
