It was cool enough to bake bread yesterday & my apricot tree is blooming again. SO WEIRD! Usually its so hot in September the kids have to eat cereal for dinner.

Wow! That's a lot of family close by! I commend you for your patience! My folks live about a mile from my sis in OR. We're constantly calling each other to find out if some wackadoo story is true. Together we can usually figure out how something got misconstrued, but sometimes its just like.... huh???

So just yesterday she tells my wife she'll make the check out for groceries for $1500. Where she got that from I'll never know. It's $150 for the month. This will get back to my BIL for sure. She's very helpful with whatever she can do. Just keeps things stirred up for sure.

90 yesterday 86 today,,,,just nuts!!!!

Crud how's the toads taking that. I have a 7 pound mutt rooster at just 5 months. How big are the toads at this age.

Don't worry, they're spring only. The other bugs are back though. Bitey little nuisances.

Bake a dozen loaves of bread....

I did 1 big loaf & 4 little loafs of zucchini bread last night. Left 2 out & froze the rest. I cant tell you the last time I was able to make zucchini bread.

If the black flies come back I'm quitting and moving to NU.

All my birds are suffering, not just the toads.

They are inside in cages getting ready for shows. It should be freezing every night.
