Shhhh! Mike... Stop telling people that I ate cake for breakfast 2 days in a row. Its bread I tell ya, bread.

For the record, I like hot tea, cold tea, hot coffee, frozen mocha frappes & I don't think I've ever met an ice cream flavor I didn't like. Ben & Jerry are some of the best friends I've ever had (even if they are enablers.)

I had some maple walnut stuff once that wasn't very good. Perhaps because it tasted of fake syrup?

White oaks, water oaks & hickory fell. I real shame was the Hickory. That is one of our only few Hickory trees.
Oak trunks went onto the fire place rack and the hickory left in a sunny location and stacked for the bbq days. The supermarket wants $4.95 for a small bag of hickory smoking chips. Irma gave us $25,000 worth for the price of a tad bit of chains saw fuel & oil.

FLIES ARE IN THEIR PEAK CYCLE RIGHT NOW! I am going nuts with them biting me today. Gunna set my fly traps after lunch. They are driving me batty!

Buddy of mine was living in SC when hurricane Hugo ripped through the state. He bought a big portable saw mill & made a mint cutting up downed trees into lumber for people. Even took some of the wood as payment for use on his own projects.

Help?! Baby was due to hatch Thursday. No signs of life detected on outside. Pip made by myself, beak cleared. Movement and breathing seen. Membrane touched with cotton covered in sterile water, away from beak. Humidity at 60% circulated air temp at 99.
I'm concerned that the beak is not fully emerged, but don't want to cause damage. Anything I can do?

Do you see veins in the membrane? Was it pipped internally? Can you see the nostrils?

I think I'm one panic attack away from leaving everything (and everyone ) behind. I'll definitely get goats if I do leave this life behind.

Theres a bakery out in what we call the country (Banty's probably rolling around laughing) that sells cinnamon ice cream. It doesn't taste super great in the spring or the summer, but its like The Holy Grail of ice cream in the winter
