I am a firm believer in DeWalt tools. I have the others but they always break or stop working. Yep, I know DeWalt is made by Black and Decker now, and that does scare me some.

A few of my tools are DeWalt. I like them, and have had no problem with any, but the B&D part scares me, too. I'm really fond of Porter Cable, and strongly leaning in that direction for all my new or replacement stuff.

My guess is the hinge is (enter bad word here)...... It might be cheapest fix to get another from a thrift store..or visit sears for a new one.

I don't think even Black and Decker could quite sink to that level. Harbour Freight is proud of how bad their tools are, I think...

All of a sudden, over the last two days, any time I reply to a post & hit the arrow next to the quoted member's name to insert it sequence, it doesn't work.
Ideas?
