BTW I thought those were some ugly naked little kittens, but being the nice, kind considerate person I am, I never mentioned how ugly they were.... See I was being nice!

Lol! I have dogs for that, they keep wild rabbits out but protect ours.

Yes, you work your grocery trip in with other stops, Tractor Supply, Bank, Grocery, ATF (alcohol, tobacco, and firearms(ammo)).

No organizational assistant. I have a Debbi she takes care of the mail, bills, finance, making phone calls etc. Part of me leaving gainful employment was she would handle all that. I wasn't going to leave work to sit at desk and do that crap. If she goes shopping too, she will put things in cart not on list.



Yes, that is why you want a list, get the list and get out. There are other people there. They might me nice and want to talk. Look focused, stay focused, avoid other people.







Weird. My chickens turn their eggs, unless they get one of their massive clutches then only some get turned. but not many hatches. Occasionally a hen will get a clutch of 20-30 or more eggs.

I mark my eggs so I can pull all the eggs laid with them. But most of my broodies are Silkie...who knows what they're thinking.

From my husband, I've learned not to try to save $1.25 if it'd going to cost $1.75 to drive there. Just pay the larger price and still save time and money. He's learned to smell the roses, comparison shop, and look for deals to keep us in the black. I keep us in the black.

Strangest thing happened today. I was done with my chores this morning kinda early. Then I went back into the house and saw the light blinking on the answering machine. It was a message from our dear neighbors inviting me to lunch at their place. So I hopped over the razor wired fence and hung out with them for a bit and had a chicken sandwich or two with them.

Did I mention my neighbor is Ozzy Osbourne?
