I had a family of skunks under my coop a year or two ago... two were shot and one got away and we never saw it or managed to trap it again.

I wish the predators would just go farther away like that...a win-win.

Oh yes...I tried talking the skunk to death the other day. Worked like a charm!!!
He seemed to be looking a little off...then he fell over in slow mo and that was it!

Look at the gnashers he had. Yikes!
About the same width as the ones on my rooties necks.

Caught one of my hens in one once

2. Why did your goose chase you?

3. Why didn't you hug it. I find geese lose interest quickly when they realize you hug them if they get close to you. My geese only come close for food, then give us a wide berth in space. They do not like being hugged. Toddlers hug them, even our dogs will hug them. They've learned that hugging is not something they enjoy.

Caught one of my hens in one once

My wee OEGB roosters are bad for getting in my small traps. I finally took the traps out of the pen. No use even trying with them setting the traps off. Very frustrating...lol.
