That is great news!Update on Daisy: She's now standing on her own two feet and moving around. I put her outside in the yard since the dogs are out at the groomer's and set out food and water. She's still drinking and eating normally and I think she'll be fine to rejoin the flock tomorrow morning.
I'm not sure what that meter is for. No one goes in my basement, and we've only been on city water for about twelve years. So I've been around to know no one has been in there to look at it.Hmmm,,,,Follow the line in from the meter. There should be a shut off. I doubt it would be the other side of the meter..Because people like me would only be metered one week a month if it were...

I will get back to the sink soon. I've been doing outside stuff that couldn't wait.
We "exercise" our valves here and there. Keeps the build up from collecting and helps with the seals.Problem with older valves they seldom work right again after turning on and off.
Wow. Never thought of that. Whenever something small breaks, the shut off valve to the sink or toilet being repaired always, ALWAYS breaks. So we usually just end up shutting off the whole house to replace the valve and whatever was broken in the 1st place. Of course the main shut off valve broke last year, so we had to call a plumber to install a new one. The village gets involved when shutting off water to the house, so a licensed plumber was required. Our water has a lot of minerals & the house was built during an age when building codes were lax. That combo = must do most things ourselves and deal with all the little quirks. We "exercise" our valves here and there. Keeps the build up from collecting and helps with the seals.
Especially the water softener by pass valve.
I nice lady came 2 counties over to buy 10 adult leghorns that were currently all laying eggs. We had them listed for 10 egg layers for $90/will not separate. She came over and would not stop ranting about how she wanted white eggs because all she has iare brown layers. She said it several times.I saw OUR chicks on CL for 2- 3xs the price he paid for them!!!!! He didn't even remove the chicks' leg bands for his postings.
